Eh.

It's like CB to FS.

I mean there are SOME instances where a CB couldn't make a transition to FS. But not many. Because the basic job is very similar...just easier.

If he can play OT, there's no reason to think he can't play OG.

If Simmons is ready to go or when he is, you put him at LT and move on. He's your LT of the future, don't dick around with him anywhere else.

Yeah so then put Simmons at RT and keep Moore who is playing well at LT and dominate. Why do you have to put Moore in a position he isn't good at if he's playing well at LT?

We are going to get the best version of Jawaan Taylor this year. He knows it’s his last year here and will want to get paid as much as he can this time next year.

In the words of the late Terez Paylor “the contract year is undefeated”

Second hardest position to fill. If he's good to go, you get 5 years cost controlled and it's a huge advantage.

Just don't put him at RT, then move him to LT like they did Fisher.

Sit him this year, then move him into it next year if that's the case.

Anyone who thinks putting one of our LTs in Taylor's spot this year is just over thinking it. If Simmons is healthy then he or Moore will be the LT and one will be the Swing T. Then we have a pretty good group of guys to fight it out for LG and then the backup positions for the interior.

I find myself intrigued with Humphrey moving to LG and Nourzad to C.

Feels like Kingsley to left guard is just a coping mechanism that we're all hoping to salvage something there.

Would be incredibly awesome if he somehow turns into a good guard because it doesn't appear to be happening at tackle at all

Anybody else hear that?

Yes.

It is insane to me people acting like he is going to be on the PUP list. I expect him to have a chance at starting by at the latest middle of the season.

We will know pretty early on if he will be the same player or not.

O.city 04-29-2025 01:17 PM

I'd leave the C on a hall of fame path at C.

Yeah I know but Humphrey could probably be a HOF LG as well. My thinking is just getting the best guys on the field and Nourzad looked good when he got his chance to play at C. Might be the most seamless adjustment in replacing Thuney. I said I was intrigued

You were spot on right up until you advocated moving the best center in football to guard. Why would you **** with that? How about just play the best guy you have in camp at guard?

Kiimo 04-29-2025 01:29 PM

A hall of fame center is so much more rare and valuable

And Kingsley looked good at LG that game too
