If Algeria wins somehow then we have a good shot at winning the group.. especially if England can beat Slovenia.. Although winning the group could also possibly mean playing Germany in the first match of the final 16.. that is if Germany finishes 2nd in their group, which could happen

I would rather play Germany in the Round of 16 than not make it.

Germany are beatable. Sure, they dominated Australia, but so did we. The only reason they put the extra 2 past Australia was because they were up a man.

That being said, Germany should have won today. They were unlucky with some shots off the woodwork.

Lets put it this way. Both the US and Germany were put down in the first half, and had to use the 2nd half for a comeback.

The US overcame a 2 goal defecit with 11 men, and Germany couldn't overcome a 1 goal defecit with 10 men (even though it was one of their best players).

I would say that Germany is definitely beatable for the US after what they showed today.

I think they played down to the competition today. If they stop that, yes they can beat anyone on a given day.

Still think Brazil beats them in 90 out of 100 matches.

The problem is our defense sucks ass.
