Shame we don't have a quarterback that can overcome setbacks.

Because you know, what's what they're supposed to do.

That MIGHT be what perhaps four or 5 other QBs can do. Can we haz one of them? no... well okay then. Guess we have to hope for healthy top players then.

Im not sure many qbs can do that though.

Aside from rodgers 1 SB win and him carrying that team thru, how many guys have done that?

Except you know, last week, when we scored all of 17 points.

Or you know, all of this year, when right now we sit at below average or worse in almost every offensive category.

When will you homers start to get it?

I don't know how you keep saying it but the offense scored 20 points. Not 17.

Didn't even matter if you count it our not. They did it.

For me, it's about the same as guys like Flacco or eli, but alot less flashy. They've gotten to the playoffs and ridden hot streaks/good fortune to superbowls.

I don't really think either one are consistent top tier guys, but they're capable of playing to that level for a bit.

I don't buy that Smith can go on a deep playoff streak where he consistently lights up good defenses and/or wins shootouts against top half QBs.

And I won't buy it until we see it, because all evidence in his career indicates otherwise.

Only like 5 teams have those kind of QB's

He's saying that because the offense scored a FG off of the onside kick. He says it doesn't count.

He's also an idiot.

I knew exactly what he was getting at. **** him still.

He doesn't get to decide.

Flacco put up 34 in the Superbowl against a very good Niners d.

He is just trying to act like those that play ff somehow have a clouded view that he is able to avoid. Ironic, from a man calling others out for acting self righteous.

Ya, he was playing above his talent & had a hot hand exactly when it was most beneficial. He proceeded to then get way overpaid & put Baltimore in cap purgatory.

Kaep also put the 9ers behind the 8 ball and changed the way SF could strategize the game because they were forced to try and play catchup. Steve Young even said the switch at QB probably cost them a SB win. Harbaugh made the wrong call. If Marty stuck with Gannon, I'm 99.9999999...% certain that the Chiefs win the Super Bowl.

It's a team game. The team needs to overcome setbacks, not just the QB.

The rest of the other players on the team are getting paid to play too.

They have.

Our defense has been a top 5 unit with and without DJ, Berry, and Houston- with a hobbled Hali and Poe as well.

Our run game has generally been a top 10 unit while cycling in back after back and the most OL configurations since 2013. (There are teams that have had more, I'm sure, but you get the point)

Which brings us to the passing game..
