That's funny, because the majority of posters here seem to like what I have to say.

Sorry I lumped you in with asshole and asshole lite. You don't belong in that group.

Super excited to have him in his natural position in Cleveland.

He's sucked at his "natural position" too without the stacked Cowboys offenses of the '90s. In his last three stints as an offensive coordinator, his teams have been 14th, 12th, 17th, and 24th in points per game and 11th, 15th, 24th, and 26th in yards per game respectively - and that's despite having players like LaDainian Tomlinson, Ricky Williams, Frank Gore and Vernon Davis at his disposal. I don't see the Browns having much success with his stuck-in-1992 offense.

I think Norv will do fine as the OC for Cleveland. He will get the running game going and Weeden has a great arm so Norv will find a way to maximize this as well.

I'm pretty sure Chud has designed the offense Norv will coordinate

Romeo wins, hands down.

Yeah, he was just awful, waaay in over his head in the top spot... terrible.

Atleast McDaniels is innovative on offense.

Im surprised you mentioned the 49ers stint.

Of course, he did have frank and Vernon, but who was his qb?

And if you don't think that he made that much of a difference. Alex Smith threw 1 td, and 11 ints his rookie year.

Under Norv, with very little from the receiver position, he went 16-16.

Not great, but much better than 1-11.

Several people have said that Norv Turner is the best play caller in the Nfl

You may of been right, but, hes not just running his offense, is a combo between Norv, and Chud. So, I have to have hope. The offense can not be any worse than it was last year.

And they'd be wrong. Norb's playcalling is as predictable, vanilla, and overconservative as it gets. No wonder Smiff did okay in Norb's offense.

Look at these horrible incompletions. All Trent Green's fault. He could have played better that day.

The first two look like he punted the ball to the WRs...but the last 3 looked money.

I'm not sure what the hell you're talking about. Those are accurate throws that should have been caught.

That's not true. Goatse has been telling everyone that Trent Green was a rifle armed Jeff George clone, and Alex Smith has the arm strength of Kelli Croyle.

This argument is still trolling on?...
