The team is really hitting its' stride just in time for conference season. That was an impressive win against a tournament team.

I've been pleasantly surprised by him. All the talk went to his brother, but he's been a very solid addition. I didn't realize he had the offensive game he does.

He's been the better of the two by far.

Yeah, but obviously he's more mature and more seasoned, having played junior college ball. Matt may help more right now, but Phil's more about the long term.

I'm happy to have them both. I was just saying, in the recruiting, Matt seemed like an afterthought... and he's already showed up huge.

Neither one was very good to start the season. Matt has stepped up big the last three games or so. Phil was heating up when he broke his hand. BTW - I heard a rumor that he is going to be out much longer than expected. Any truth to that?

Hadn't heard anything like that. Hope it's not true... as you said, he was finding his groove.

I heard right after he got injured that he was more likely to be out four weeks than two.
