I'm liking what DaBoll did the last half of the year in Miami. The bad start they had is clouding alot of people's opinions on him. I'm intrigued to see what he can do with more talented offensive pieces than he's worked with in the past as OC.

I'm liking that Daboll has some fierceness. Maybe he can keep them on their toes.

BUMP.

Most of this message board knew that Daboll would be a dumpster fire of a disaster as OC.

Of course Phobia is an epic failure exception:

Our offense isn't all that broken. We get our star RB back. We get a talented TE. Our 1st round draft pick will have a year and an actual offseason under his belt. Our starting center won't be shoved all over the place because he's gone along with his precious consecutive snaps streak. Even with a questionable OC hire and Cassel at QB, I predict an offense in the top half of the league.

The positives for me are that Romeo and Pioli are staking very high dollar salaries on this guy. He's not sexy but he's not some retread has-been either.
Spoken like someone who worked for a website that employs Nick Athan.

"Offense will be in the top half of the league"

Looks like he found another crappy team.

He's basically a groupie for underachieving schmucks from the Parcells/Patriots tree. I'm sure he'll find another job as a quarterbacks coach before he directs any offense worth a shit.

I wonder if Clark will have the testes to clean house if we go 6-10.

Let's review:

1. We have a shitty GM who has acquired one impact player in three years.

2. We have a head coach with a shitty track record.

3. We have an OC with an incredibly shitty track record.

4. We have a QB with a below average track record.

Inspires confidence.

LMAO

Chalk up another for moi.

And wish I hadn't.

The "Executive of the Decade" has done it again.

We drug this out until February, supposedly because we wanted to talk to coaches from playoff teams. When your final three are Zorn, Saunders and Daboll, I think it's pretty safe to say that this organization is a ****ing joke.

Then you proceed to pick the biggest turd in the bowl.

Pioli and his attempt to re-create the "Patriot Way" has sucked every last ounce of enthusiasm for this franchise right out of me. I wasn't a fan of the hire when it happened in 2009, but I never thought it would be this bad.

Go ahead and blow the 11th or 12th pick on another 5-technique or a RT, Scott. I'm fully expecting it, and more importantly, I don't give a shit anymore. Make sure you take someone that will pick up that candy wrapper.

At this point, the only thing that excites me about the Chiefs is knowing there will be a day - hopefully sooner rather than later - that this Patriot Way experiment comes to a ****ing end.

And another dynamite blast.

How about just flat out saying what anyone can see now - we're headed for disaster and Pioli is a giant overpaid joke of a GM.

The writing is on the wall Pioli has smeared his feces with.

Proud of this one. Really. o:-)

Daboll promised an aggressive approach.

"The first word I want to use is `attack,'" he said. "When you're an offensive football coach, you want to try to really set precedent on the defense and attack the defense."

Wasn't too hard to see Dabol not working. It was a joke hire to support another joke hire. No matter what people thought we would be record-wise, I think most knew it would be in spite of Cassel, Dabol, and Crennel. Instead, it was just exactly what these group of guys should normally produce together, and even more.

KurtCobain 11-26-2012 01:17 AM

Admittedly, I didn't think this was a bad hire last year. Note though, it was a goose egg. everybody who works for this team needs walking at this point.
