That is terrible. Entirely too young. Condolences to his friends and family. I can't imagine what they're feeling right now.

My old high school. Seemed like a great kid and I know coach Callaghan is a great man I'm sorry anyone who witnessed it :(

I hope that this doesn't come across as me trying to get attention or just me up here complaining, but here it goes. This may show my age, but I was at Shawnee Mission West when Andre when he was a freshman. I ran track my senior year, and he was a freshman. The one thing that I can tell you is that he was one of the nicest, most liked guys on the team. As well as being the best athlete that I think I have ever seen in person. It has been heartbreaking to see all this going on at my old school since I still know quite a few people there.

Hate it when something happens to a good kid so young. Not to be morbid, but I hope his family has chosen to donate his organs to those in need.


Guess they have. The recipients are blessed, as are those left behind.
