I know why people are post whoring the donation thread, but why are people post whoring that Raider thread?
Okay so I was home for all of last night's game but was out watching the game tonight, the run scored while I was in the car. Do I stay at home for the other games, or go out? Just for Jaime's next start if needed since he actually looked good tonight? Also, I can't express enough how much I <3 Allen Craig and Scrabble.

Chavez. I hate that evil one who sucks the penis.

Man I swear a week ago cardinals fans wanted to waive Jaime Garcia...what happened!?!?!?
When you keep batting your best hitters 5,6,7 and keep the awful Andrus, an injured Hamilton, and Michael Young 2,3,4, you deserve to lose.
Ron might want to consider some lineup construction changes. |

Have we had a hit all night that didn't come with 2 out?

Holliday, how about some State Farm here.

Adams is good, but that HR-suppressing environment in San Diego has helped him out significantly in his career. I'd love to see him in a full season on another team.
This is what WS BB is about, and Clay was bitching in the other thread about it being a boring game.
LMAO |
Sure would like some insurance here. These guys are just too good - they've got to break out at some point.

This game has been absolutely riveting from the first pitch. |
Shit calls starting to trinkle in.
Really wish we had Freese up here. Hopefully Descalso can bring back some of his early season RISP and high leverage magic.
Sure wish Tony hadn't pulled Freese.
Anybody else still having slow reply times in this thread?
I don't care that TLR has made every move right. Not having Freese in this spot because of his defense is stupid.

Very questionable unless Motte seals the deal then...... |
Getting Kinsler out is the key...Andrus and Hamilton have been flailing away for a while now.
Quote:
If Motte blows it its all your fault! |

Taking out Berkman or Holliday when their spot is sure to come up the next inning is an altogether different matter. We needed two runners to reach just for Freese's spot to come up. |
How the **** was that not a swing?
Holy shit. 1st 1-0 PS game in Cards history.....to this point.
Andrus will bunt, I'm sure. He's useless otherwise.
Jesus Christ. Goddamn ****ing dying quail. That Jew Bastard just keeps reaching base without hitting the ball hard.

Remember Carpenter two weeks ago? |
Goddamn. He was safe.
Holy hell he must have had a monster jump.
Yadier's arm is ridiculous, but Kinsler almost never gets CS for a reason. He picks the right time to go.

Oh mah gawl

Deep deep trouble now. ****.
What the **** was that?
Wow, he needed to cut that off.
That wasn't Jay's fault.
I don't know what to do here. Do you walk Hamilton?
Quote:
Do you walk Hamiliton, play the infield in...and try to get a force at home? That would set up a double play.
This is a mistake. Rhodes can't throw strikes and he's not a swing and miss pitcher. This is Motte's game, it's not his fault Kinsler on got with a dying quail.

Sadly, we're overdue for LaRussa's tinkering to bite us in the ass. But you can't fault him too much. Motte just choked.
Going to Rhodes is probably the right decision. Dotel is still out there for Young and Beltre, right?

I don't know about this. I think Motte can blow it by Hamilton. Rhodes might throw some ducks up there Hamilton can catch up to.

FWIW, Hamilton hits lefties really well (10 HR this year, IIRC), so there isn't much of a platoon advantage.
Strike out and the a walk and a double play is our only way out.
If you are going to walk him then why pull Motte?

Josh Hamilton career OPS vs. LHP: .797 It's a tough one, but LaRussa played the odds. |
Shit shit shit
thought he may have gotten all of that one
Letter high dog shit. That's why you don't bring in Rhodes.
Rhodes pitching like he's already got his WS ring. Oh, wait...
Uh oh, that's not Dotel.

This is the LaRussa we haven't seen much of lately. |
