Looks to be yet another amazing performance by DiCaprio.

totally stoked to see this

inglorious basterds felt like a major leap for tarrantino, reigning in all his quirks and fetishes for something larger and more cohesive...

If nothing else, the thing looks pretty. It literally looks like a 1968 Leone Spaghetti Western.

Just from the trailers, it looks like Dicaprio had a blast playing this role.

Well, yeah... obviously.

Nah, I just mean you hear about how, for actors who usually are cast in very serious roles, playing a character that's so "over the top" can be a lot of fun.

He's really chewing the scenery in the trailers. Looks like he's having fun.

Also, Samuel L Jacksons look and character were cracking me up in that trailer. I wasn't expecting that.

I'm not a big QT fan. Nor am I a Jamie Foxx fan. But usually I WANT to like QT's movies. The trailers usually pull me back in, even after I swear I'm not going to watch another one.

But this one... with the exception of DiCaprio who looks outstanding, this movie looks terrible to me. Just awful.

I hope fans enjoy it. But it won't be hard for me to skip this one.

Apparantly, there was a secret screening last night and it's 3 hours long.

QT is an awesome director and most of his movies are ****ing awesome.

Setsuna 12-07-2012 02:28 AM

I'm disappointed QT didn't make a movie about Catcher Freeman. Ah well. Missed opportunity.
