I grew 2 inches my freshman year, also... My son, he seems like he capped his junior year of highschool, though... Hasn't grown (as far as height) at all this year. Weird how it works.

That must have been nice. Everyone thought I was going to be tall because I grew about 6 inches between 7th and 8th grade year. As a freshman I was listed at 5'11'' on the basketball roster. And I never grew anymore after that.

We likely won't recognize the team in '17-18. KU is likely losing a lot after this year. Probably lose the entire starting lineup along with Svi and Coleby. This guy would be ready to take over for Mason after sitting one year. That would essentially make him a junior (RS Soph) with three years of eligibility remaining.

Thornton is a chance to get a legit lottery point guard in Self's system for a year before he plays.

I really really hope he commits. Now would be a great time to visit, Lawrence in the spring is dynamite.
