Well atleast he's not a midget too like Parker is.

The offense was the culprit according to the coach.

Rausch 03-13-2007 11:36 PM

Hannon is 6'3" and Webb is 6'2".

The era of midget WR's is over. Hopefully these guys get a legit chance to fight in TC and preseason to prove their worth...

We know what we've got with Parker which is a speedy short guy who drops passes and fumbles a lot. He's worthless.

Hannon is next in line and oodles cheaper.

What the Chiefs have been HORRIBLE at is taking low round talent and maximizing it. The best we've done late in the last 7 years is J. Allen.

And wasn't Herm a scout when Joe Horn was drafted?...

We won't need Hannon or Parker once we draft the real deal Steve Smith from USC. Hell cut them all, leave Hall and Webb. I'm not so sure Parker is really much better than Hall, we just throw to him more. Plus, Parker is a huge DBAG. How bad can Gardner be? Are we even retaining the guy? I mean he has to be better than Hannon, he was a 1st round draft pick and had over 1000 yards one season.

I don't know how any good these guys are going to be. I am in wait in see mode. Something tells me if hannon didn't even play much at UT and webb played for san arizona jose new mexico state he couldn't be that good. Stranger things have happened though.

You didn't see the drafted at 16 overall in the 1st round part?

You call it "regurgitated bullshit", the rest of the world calls it "fact".

And I haven't said a word about anybody "breaking out". I'm just smart enough not to write a player off after a single year in the league. Most pros take 3-4 years to develop. That's reality, like it or not. That's not any kind of guarantee that either Hannon or Webb will be anything, but we seem to like them both enough to give it a shot.

Or we could do it your way, draft new receivers in April, release them the following March after they don't turn into all pros, and then wonder why we never develop anybody.

5 catches for 68 yards in the first year, and 7 catches for 179 his second year. Other than pretty good yardage for 7 catches, nothing special about 12 catches in 2 years.

This was a 5th round draft pick for the Chiefs.

Carlos Carson.

Don't write these 2 guys off just yet.

Coogs 03-14-2007 12:50 PM

And his opposite WR who was undrafted Stephone Paige...
