In Response to Goatse's prediction.

Could this be a draft day type decision? Meaning the Bengals trade their #1 pick at the 9th position for the Chiefs #1 pick at lets say the 5th pick. In the trade we get Chad Johnson?

Could this also be part of the "big draft day news" that the Erroneous one was talking about earlier? They are both from the same source of WPI.

Some people here were wanting to trade down for value. Would we not get value for that type of trade?

I'd love for Johnson to join this team (at the right price).

I'll take Chad Johnson, the number 9 pick and a 3rd rounder for our pick!

The one thing Colston has going for him is his age.

He's had two Chad Johnson-like years.

He needs 4 more years of that consistent play before I put him in the same category as 85.

I think Colston might be every bit as good as the rest of these big-name wideouts.

He played better in his first 2 years than CJ did. By far.

I agree. He MIGHT be. He has the talent.

I just want to see several more years of 1200 yards/10+ TD's before I put him in that class.

Brock 02-01-2008 06:05 PM

I'd take Colston on this team before Johnson any day. Chad's a dickhead.

By far? Colston had 4 more TD's. Johnson had more yardage, on fewer catches:

Colston: 168/2260 yards, 19 TD

Johnson: 159/2521 yards, 15 TD

That wasn't the argument.

I'd rather have Colston as well. He's 6 years younger.

I was comparing their first 2 years in the league. Never mind that Colston is already performing to Johnson's level.

Johnson & Johnson

...diapers for us or headaches for the other team?

Hell those 2 would probably combine for 60 yards in penalties all by themselves.
