For me, it is and always has been seafood. Even as a child, I couldn't stand the thought of eating it and used to have knock-down-drag-out fights with my mother over it. There's something about texture of fish, as you place it in your mouth and start to chew....repellant. I can actually feel my gorge rising as I type this. I'm in my mid 40's now and I know I'll never get over it. It's a psychological foible that's beyond all reason & common sense. I can't even contemplate eating any of it: fish, oysters, lobster, clams, shrimp, octopii...the whole gamut. That's an experience I'll never partake in. |
Gum. I focking hate gum. I hate to hear it, I hate to see it, I hate to step in it, I hate to smell it.

Tongue.
Gross. Oh, and liver. Why in the world would anyone want to eat a liver? Disgusting. |
I don't like mussels nor liver. I'll eat anything else though - gonads, heart, fried skin, tail, organs - whatever.
|
Sour cream. Can't stand it.

All y'all just need these foods prepared correctly and you might change your mind. I used to dislike many of these same foods until I learned how to prepare them correctly.
I agree with the salad and buffet bars, and some (most) restaurants - scary. |

Lake fish (crappie, bass, catfish) or sushi.

Pretty much, pickles - the only reall 'food' I can't touch. Really, anything tart for that matter.
I do, however, 'try' a pickle every 2 years or so - to make sure I'm still correct in my phobia lol. |
