Yeah, if it wasn't for the 13-3 MSU/Iowa game or the 10-0 PSU/Purdue game or the Kent State/someone game on ABC or the 3-0 Georgia Tech/Duke game on ESPNU...

I wonder how much longer we have to suffer through the ESPN/Big Suck contract. They should really switch to the Big 12. Well, not today.

Today would work. I'm sadistic enough to want to watch this in HD.

Buehler445 10-04-2008 11:53 AM

Damn, I just tuned into the KU ISU game. SHIT!

Frazod 10-04-2008 11:57 AM

20-0 at the half. Damn.

I fully expected Penn State to roll. This game is pretty good so far.

Sure-Oz 10-04-2008 12:01 PM

KU is still very well in it, it could be worse

I haven't really been paying attention since the first quarter, which IMO was a typical brutal Big 10 game. Good for Purdue though, 3rd quarter and they're over 100 yards of offense.

As for Kansas, I guess it's the old "regardless of how much we sucked in the first half, we're only down 20.... and hey, we're on Versus, so if no one watches, maybe we can pretend it never happened!".

KcMizzou 10-04-2008 12:05 PM

Yeah, if KU ever gets their head out of their ass, it's far from over.

They're a far better team than they've shown today.

Reaper16 10-04-2008 12:07 PM

Iowa State are playing like a bunch of pissed-off dudes. Which, since they live in Ames, I'd expect them to be pissed-off all the time.

This is a game that seriously begs the question of "How in the shit is this happening?"

ArrowheadHawk 10-04-2008 12:08 PM

I don't remember the last time KU played this bad. Oh wait yes I do it was at Mizzou in 2006.

I haven't seen an over-matched team in red play like this since... well, last week at Arrowhead.

CupidStunt 10-04-2008 12:10 PM

It's not all bad. The Jayhawks still might win the Burger King It's Just A Game Bowl.

I like what happened last week, and I like what's happening right now. ;)

For a program that's never won consecutive bowl games, I'll be happy if they end up in a bowl. It'll be okay.
