very nice win today. Completely dominated the game from start to finish. Sherron and Cole were animals today

Eh, he will do OK, and then have a complete bonehead ass move. IMO he hasn't made enough above average play to make up for the bonehead ones. I think Releford should have been at least been given some PT to see what he's got. I think his upside is much much higher than Morningstar's.

Honestly though, I gotta give Self the benefit of the doubt. If Morningstar puts together more efforts like today, he needs to be in there. Today his 3s were very VERY timely, and played well handling the pressure for the most part.

so does this count as Morningstar being able to play well against someone good?

Losing control would have been getting two techs and getting tossed. He was fine.

After reading this thread, I've determined that you are a huge douche, but you are definitely right about this. Self knew exactly what he was doing there, and I think it paid off in the end. There is clearly a method to the madness.

As for this game, well Collins played better than I've ever seen from him. He was far more in control than usual, and made some great passes while driving. He also hit his FT's down the stretch. When is able to give that kind of effort consistently, this team won't lose often.

Aldrich of course was great on both ends of the floor, but you almost expect that from him at this point. He'll be a lottery pick come June if he keeps playing like this.

Just got back from the game. It was a pretty good one. Nice to see Mario Little out there. Cole was solid, Sherron was the leader, and everybody else played their role well.

You determined that didja?

You didn't come to the same conclusion somewhere around page 4?

I sat through this thinking, this is exactly what this team needed at this point and they responded exactly like they needed to respond. Dominant on offense against man, stymied but steadied down the stretch against the zone. Still pushed to show that a good ten minutes doesn't win you the game.

That announcer was about to JIZZ IN HIS PANTS for the Vols to come back and win this, from halftime on. No respect for KU on their home court, just an hour of how if the Vols would stop playing shitty, they'd win this thing.

Yeah, no respect. Now lets see what happens vs Sienna then at Mich. State.

I don't know what the hell you are talking about. At the beginning of the year, I was against Morningstar playing just as much as everybody else but he's proved he belongs out there. You say he makes alot of bonehead moves. Completely on the contrary. Morningstar is out there because he doesn't make many mistakes. The problem most people have with Brady is his potential and that he doesn't make many explosive plays, not that he makes boneheaded plays. He easily has the best assist to turnover ratio on the entire team. With the exception of Sherron, he leads the team in minutes, and he only has 15 turnovers on the entire year. The guy is shooting 48% from three point land for god sakes. He needs to shoot MORE. I've completely changed my tune about him from the beginning of the year, and he's getting better defensively each game.

No, it was a couple of years ago.
