I don't know if either were offered jobs, but the report out of Denver was that he was their 2nd choice behind McDaniels.

Since he was a secondary coach last year, I guess they may have thought he'd get some interest at DC and HC.

I can't shake this feeling that Gruden is campaigning his ass off for our HC job.

If we hire him (I hope not), one of two things will happen. (1) he will fail and we are back to the drawing board. Or, (2) he will be successful, and in 2 or 3 years he will ditch us for Notre Dame after Weiss gets his fat ass fired there. Neither scenario is kosher for the Chiefs.
