I asked him something to the effect of, "do you see the Chiefs drafting a QB at #3 a possibility since they have not extended Cassel, then move either Cassel or Sanchez/Stafford during the draft.
No answer. Surprise. |

[Comment From Andrew from Springfield]
Are there any predictions of last year's draft you'd take back if you could? |

I asked about Dorsey and threw Raji in there.

hahaha
[Comment From Scott Pioli] Speaking of value, why would I take Monroe at 3 and slide Albert to RT, when I can get a fine RT in the 3rd or 4th just like I did in NE? Isn't that kind of a waste of the #3 value, filling a hole easily filled in later rounds? Especially considering that both of these left-tackle-capable players will want a lt's contract in a few years and we won't be able to give it to both of them? |

Oh wow he took a really good Monroe/Albert question.
|
He just knocked Curry in his response "a LB that isn't an elite pass rusher"
|
Scott Wright: Sure, because top offensive tackles just grow on trees in the middle rounds! :o) Based strictly on money, it makes WAY, WAY more sense to give $30 million guaranteed to a left tackle over a linebacker who isn't an elite pass rusher.
A little sass for the Chiefs fans. |
What I've learned his Scott Wright thinks if the Chiefs keep the 3rd pick Curry or an OT are the only options.
