Just stumbled across a sale for Vampire: The Masquerade Bloodlines, 75% off ($5). I never played it, but it's commonly talked about as one of the best RPGs ever. Details on patching it (it came out in '04, and was extremely buggy) can be found here.

If you're buying the steam version, no need for serious patching -- you'll only need the latest UNOFFICIAL patch - 7.6b . I had no trouble getting the Steam version to run on Windows 7 x64... And this game is FANTASTIC!!!

Apparently, Counter-Strike: GO was announced recently. They are handing out codes at PAX to redeem in October when it enters beta. Looks pretty cool.

I really wanted Dungeons to be good, but the demo was dreadful. I loved Dungeon Keeper II and have been eagerly waiting for someone to make a decent sequel. Unfortunately, Dungeon wasn't it.

Torchlight 2...a day late and a dollar short. They really screwed the pooch on that one.

I finally got a Counter-Strike GO beta key. CS is still quite fun and I think they've priced it effectively ($15 release in August).

I finally got Counter Strike 1.6. It runs kind of slowly on my computer but I love the graphics. I think they've priced it effectively (free right now).
