Watching this game has resolved a lot of my indigestion about our 5th overall and finding a NT in this draft.

Imagine the first three rounds falling like this:

1: Berry
2a: Spikes
2b: Cam Thomas
3: Blount

Mayock said Thomas was a 4-3 DT or 3-4 DE.

And Spikes? Fo' real?

I've missed a lot of this game, but on that last series he looked pretty putrid.

Ultimately, you hope to pick up someone middle-late for the right side of the line or at center, and you understand that 2011 is the year for WRs.

Draft to the strength of the draft.

If Alexander drops to 4, I'd take him there. If he runs sub 4.6 at the combine, I may take him at 3.

Lots of good slot guys in this draft, but a lot of them will be available in 4 and 5.

Nice throw and catch by LeFevre and Gilyard.

Milk, how is this:

Draft Gilyard in 2 and take someone like Micah Johnson in round 4.

Gilyard looks like Desean Jackson in this game.

Who ya got at WR in the 2nd round next year after we take Locker or Gabbert in the first?

When did you turn into Donger?

I doubt Gabbert comes out next year, and I doubt we give up on Cassel after two years. Excuses will abound.
