[QUOTE=Bearcat;7647375]Posted this in the earthquake thread, but it's too important for people to miss...
Just remember your training from movies like The Day After Tomorrow... RUN. Massive tidal waves that end up flooding land hundreds of miles inland? Run. Temperature drops 200 degrees? Run. Figures... first Saturday in a month that I don't have stuff going on early in the morning, and I'm going to be woken up by the EOW. I'll log into CP to see what's going on, and will have to read "I told you so" threads from the resident tinfoil. Just wonderful. http://cdn2-b.examiner.com/sites/def...5c085e99b9.JPG[/QUOTE I'm in phoenix works for me |
Re: the map
So, the coastlines will be flooded 100 or so miles inland...plausible. The Mississippi inundates everything around it...well, OK. The Colorado completely swamps the Rockies...hmmm. But the Great Lakes? No change at all baby!...yeah, bullshit. |

It's going to be 2 days before, the day after tomorrow.
HOLY SHIT, THAT"S TODAY http://i1106.photobucket.com/albums/...gifs/HbHLf.gif |
Two nights ago we were driving down I-95 in Rhode Island on our way to the Indian casino in CT. My wife is driving, and says, "Hey, what's that, the circus?" I look up and see three or four RVs all covered in the same shrinkwrap design, looking like a traveling carnival. I read quickly as they go by and realize it's these crazy ****suckers, LOL. Told my wife how we should do as suggested here and find them the night before to see if they'll give their RVs to us. What would also be cool is to get someone to dress up like Jesus and have him walk into their campsite and say, "Dudes, you missed it, it was yesterday. Sorry."

What time of day? Will I have time to at least get some stuff done in the morning?
