How'd you end up on Chiefsplanet though? If you don't like football?

I don't know how many times I explained that I came back to talk baseball. There are some really good baseball people here. Besides that I have some personal friends here. I wouldn't expect one of the sites biggest idiots to get that tho.

When it comes to football I'm a Chiefs fan and that's some light years behind the sports I love. For the 3000th time.

I don't dislike football as I've said a million times. I grew up with baseball and in a KU family. My mom and dad both volunteered in little league and my brother and I both played. I was ok... he was a star. My summers were baseball.... we'd go play then we'd watch the Royals on tv. That was their glory days. Chiefs football was terrrible then. We didn't watch. My dad didnt care about sports except for helping coach us kids in baseball. My mom worked the concession stand and brought leftovers home for us. We were a totally baseball family. It's all we knew. Once it was cold outside we followed KU basketball. That was our second love and we were passionate about it.

I never watched a football game period until high school and The Chiefs were terrible and it bothered me because I loved KC. They didnt provide the glory I grew up enjoying in 1985 and 1988.... so they werent my favorite team. But I've always rooted for then since I discovered them.

I know that around here that doesn't mean much.
