I was actually watching the original Alien film the other day on one of the cable channels. Its amazing how much slower paced it is than the blockbusters of today. I think its brilliant the way its basically a slow burn and fairly quiet in some parts.


If this is an "origin story" about the creation of the Alien, i wonder how the Alien queen comes into play in all this? Or is Scott ignoring the Sequels?

I own the quardilogy and watched the first one and remember when they first went into the ship and saw that dead alien thing in the chair...i swore thats in the trailer
