I didn't take it as racist.

I simply took it as extremely stupid.

There are far fewer black QB's than white QB's in the NFL, so yes statistically far fewer black QB's will win SB's.

TRR 12-07-2011 09:46 PM

LOL! Do you know how many black QBs have been in the league in the last 15-20 years and how many have won the SB?

On the original subject.

Quote:

To acquire Sanchez, the Jets traded their first- and second-round choices (17 and 52), plus three marginal players - defensive end Kenyon Coleman, quarterback Brett Ratliff and safety Abram Elam
Something close to that. A our 1st and our 3rd.

Yeah that won't happen. That was an absolutely horrible trade and Mangini obviously overrated his old scrubs.

From 1990, 60 total have been drafted.

Of those 60, 16 have been converted to another position.

Edit:Made a mistake.

In the history of the draft from 1936 to the present, only 13 black QBs have been drafted in the first round.

Historically, if a QB is black, they must be drafted in the first round and then play in the USFL. Well, actually, they have to be drafted and play for one NFL team, then get a lowball contract offer. Then, they have to move on to the USFL, then come back and play for another team, as a backup.

That, statistically, is the only way a black QB wins a Super Bowl.

Racism played a large role in the black QB's role in the NFL.

In all, 96 black QBs have been drafted since 1939, with 33 converting to different positions.

This is the stupidest method to prove a point I've ever seen.

Barkley and kalil have both said they will make the decision together and now that kalil is returning to school, I assume barkley will return as well. If he's true to his word of course.

RG3 or bust.

Chiefnj2 12-08-2011 10:27 AM

If Kalil does in fact return to school, I would assume it might make it easier to trade up into the top 5. By all accounts Kalil was the top rated OT. Teams sitting in the top 5 (like the Rams) probably wouldn't want to run the risk of missing him. Now that he might not declare, there is less room separating the remaining OTs.

Removing Barkley makes RG3 that much more valuable. He almost assuredly will go #2 now, imo.
