I honestly didn't post that video to knock Stanzi. I am a Stanzi fan. I understand how it appears that I posted with those intentions, but swear I just randomly viewed the clip and that throw at the 1:30 mark caught my eye. That was a bomb.

Yeah, I know. It's mostly directed at all the haters, specifically the ones from BossChief's "Ricky Stanzi in the 2nd round" thread. They ripped into the Ricky hard for that mistake. It's pretty much all they have to tee off on the guy.

I remember reading that thread about a year or so after it had been posted. Boss had been wishing for the Chiefs to draft Stanzi long before it actually happened and there were mega-haters in that thread...some who have warmed up to Stanzi a bit since.

Hell, I was one of them. I was guilty of basing my projection of Stanzi into the NFL from his sophomore year, where he won a bunch of games but made bone-headed mistakes. Then I saw statistics from his senior season. Then I saw the steady growth and giant steps he took to become a very mature QB. I watched college film from his junior and senior seasons, and I changed my mind about the guy. It ended up being a complete 180 that I took.
