I don't see how most people can afford to smoke. Yesterday, I was at a c store and the guy in front of me bought two packs of cigs - almost $16.

My wife and I make a pretty good living, but that is alot of money for smokes.

$16 puts 4+ gallons of gas in the pontoon. I can roll all weekend on $20 cruising the lake.

Since I quit smoking it amazes me how much I smell it on others.

A lot of smokers smoke a pack or two a day. That really adds up.

Lots of money down the drain. Started in grade school. Bunch of us boys were in the cub scouts at the time and someone always had a couple of cigs that were swiped from their old man that we would puff on as we walked to and from the meetings. About 20 cents a pack back then. A quarter if you used a machine. Really thinking about quitting sometime in the near future now.

if you smoke
you need a will see new threads.

so I still haven't smoked a cig. Was diagnosed with bronchitis yesterday. Seems as though I had it the last couple months due to the wheezing and coughing shortly after I quit the cigs. I have an inhaler and some antibiotics and after a day I'm am a lot better. The wheezing is damn near gone. I can finally breathe. My oxygen levels were given a B grade and they were shocked it wasn't lower due to the wheezing. End of the month will be 4 months. Feels good.

Smokings for oafs, and they cost 17 bucks a pack down here. One state, Tasmania, just passed a law that anyone born after 2000 can't buy smokes, ever.

LiveSteam 09-11-2012 03:29 PM

Full pack during the Nub-UCLA game.

whoman69 09-11-2012 04:16 PM

Only about 1 in five adults smoke.
