He's not interviewing in ATL today, because you can't prove it.

I can't prove he's NOT there either.

That was never said. He may be, then again he might not be.

You are the one saying over and over he's in Atlanta interviewing people today.

I just asked for a link showing he actually is. Why does that upset you?

Reports aren't always true.

I find it funny that Clark says he will hire the new hc on his own then the first two reports are we will interview guys under Pioli's buddy , who also don't match the criteria Clark put out in his interview.

Something doesn't add up, sorry I question it.

I'm not worried about the Chiefs hiring the Falcons ST coach.

Pioli isn't hiring the new coach, he isn't scouting players, he won't be talking to the media in any form, meaning he is not director of football operations, and is powerless. Again, I don't know why he's still there, maybe Clark likes him wants him to take a smaller job in the organization, maybe it's about money. I don't know. When asked about Pioli's future, Clark said there are more changes coming.

It's pretty stupid to believe Pioli is just a man in a suit, imo.

He's getting paid no matter if he's fired or not.

That is probably why he put a muzzle on everyone until they get their pink slip. He needs to keep Pioli on the sidelines until certain decisions are final. I am confident now that Pioli is gone when no more damage can be done.

Bullshit.

Keep the scouts and select members of the scouting department during the transition period but there is no reason to keep Fat Scott.

The "inside information" he has resulted in 2 wins this year... that "inside information" is toxic nuclear waste. It is worthless.

The point was that the rumors have merit and they aren't just "shit being flung hoping it sticks."

My comment about hoping something would stick was about the majority of the rumors we hear flying around. Some will be right and some will be someone reporting something because it makes sense in thier own minds based on past facts along with the fact that Pioli is still here and the media, as a whole, don't know shit and they are for the most part "guessing" = hoping something sticks and turns out to be correct.
That post was also in response to the OP not any post in the thread. Because I didn't read the thread before I made that initial post.

You should probably start a "Is Clark a Lying Sack of Shit" thread.

Mr_Tomahawk 01-01-2013 04:18 PM

We are ****ed.

The longer Pioli is here...the more likely he is going to remain the GM for the new few seasons and hire some push-over HC.

The sky is falling in my life right now people...

ILChief 01-01-2013 04:18 PM

He's missed out on Reid. With as much power as he's going to give a HC, he's gonna have to pull an ace out of his sleeve

Hmmm...I'm not part of the antifreeze/AIDS Tree.

I've always been a proponent of the GoFistYourself Way.

OTWP might be a better judge.

I've been saying this for 36 hours.

Doesn't mean all of these reports are a lie. As Parker pointed out, it's likely just Clark doing his due diligence.

There's a big difference between things not adding up, and completely dismissing media reports because you think Scott Pioli is leaking false information.

On top of this. With him putting the muzzle on Pioli, if any of the wrong information gets out (from Pioli's mouth) will be a reason to fire him without pay.
