no QB worth the 1st pick and the team has LOTS of needs

If no QB is worth the pick then nobody is likely to give up draft picks to trade up.

I can see the Raiders passing. They've spent about 40 draft picks on QB's the last 4 years. The Jags - no...

you guys want a QB so bad that your desperation numbs what little brain power you command, there ain't one out there worth a top pick and the gameday roster is 53 players

And idiots like you believe Geno isn't worth the #1 because you blindly listen to what Kiper tells you.

He used the word "likely".

He's absolutely correct.

Nobody is going to trade up for a tackle.

Nobody "should" trade up for this T this year but some teams hire some really dumb mother****ers to run their franchise...

Sign him the week of the draft, take Geno #1 and begin the training.

Oh and by the way...

Of course they will. Who wouldn't want to make a massive trade for a tackle or a corner who isn't any more elite than the top QB prospects.

Go get your target. Who cares where hes selected as long as he pans out.

Chiefs should have drafted Flacco over Dorsey or Albert, and i dont even think Flacco is an "all world" talent.

^^This^^

Geez, why is the team so afraid to make the smart moves?

Chief Roundup 01-16-2013 10:38 AM

Just curious. Is there a reputable draftnik that is considering any of the QB's worth the #1 overall pick?

If the player doesn't pan out then the person that drafted that player gets hung for reaching and not coming up with a plan that works out. The person probably loses their job because of that pick as well.

Dan Shonka is a former professional scout. He works for OurLads now.

He has Geno #1 overall on his board, and his board doesn't consider team needs.
