On the other hand I think Iron Maiden is great. Probably my favorite of that style of music. Run To The Hills gives me goosebumps when I hear it.

Yep they played it this tour. I just got the new Megadeth yesterday- called Super Conductor-it rocks! Not a bad song on there-even banjo's-lol Just finished Mustaine-Dave's autobiography. Pretty descent read-pretty much sums up why he was an asshole for so many years. He slams everyone, especially Metalicker. What a bunch of D bags. Great read.

I had to go listen to some AC/DC on YouTube just to wipe out the memory of their covers. And I'm not even overly fond of AC/DC. What I did notice from watching those guys is that all of instruments worked together in a synergistic wave of kick ass music. It's not some kind of deep music that will change the world but it's driving, energetic and fun to listen to. Bon Scott had a crazy style to his singing. I don't know, maybe he was half baked all the time, but he belted shit out and it rocked. Brian Johnson doesn't sound like that. To me he seems more focused, more tightly wound, when he sings. I think he does justice to the old stuff and I like the job he does. Like I said I'm not overly fond of the band. I do enjoy the music though. This KC/DC sounds just horrible if you listen to anything by AC/DC. It's like they are actively trying to kill the music.

I am sure whatever they recorded that on sucks and it was probably not even mixed. You just have to see them live. If you love Old Ac DC- you will enjoy the show-they know most every song. I mean how long has it been since you heard ANY band play Sin City or Problem Child live??

When you and Dane come to town we will get some beers and rock out. :D

John and I go back to the original, KC, post-Dallas Billy Goat crew. He's a good enough player, believe me.

Holy shit I forgot all about Billy Goat! Those guys played here in Springfield at the Regency a few times and kicked ass. I had a couple of their t-shirts and was suspended on two separate occasions for wearing them to school ROFL

Im guessing "John" is JJ Richards?

Would that have been thee..."**** Billy Goat" model?:D

I don't know what name he's using. If I played AC/DC, I'd probably change my name too.

I'm nearly positive that I have Bush Roaming Mammels on cd buried in a box somewhere in my basement.

I didn't really understand it at the time because I was 21 and just wanted to play, get paid, and get laid(which I did extensively), but Billy Goat was pretty much a grindy, pornographic version of the Ohio Players.

Let me preface this by saying I do not care for Ac/Dc. To me they were almost exactly like them in that vid.

No "Hallowed By Thy Name" is a major bummer, seeing as its the best heavy metal song ever composed.

Anything off of the Fear of the Dark album NOT named "Fear of the Dark" is a mistake to include. I appreciate the Seventh Son of a Seventh Son focus, though; even if it meant that post-2000s Maiden material got neglected.

When I saw them in Dallas, they did an encore of Hallowed, and it started slightly raining and a cool breeze came over everyone. It was pretty epic.

Wish they would play Flight of Icarus btw-not sure why they don't? :hmmm:

If they would have added that- the set list would have been perfect.
