Way too many votes for Bo Jackson. The guy was a freakish athlete and a crazy good fielder. He also hit .250, never walked, and struck out 150 times per year. And really how are we talking about a 25 home run guy versus other guys who are hitting 40+?

There's no doubt that Bonds and ARod were the best of the modern generation, but given the juice, I'd go with Griffey and Pujols, even if their career dominance didn't last long (and always had a soft spot for Gwynn, who was impossible to get out). As a pitcher, I'll go with Mariano Rivera (based on guys I saw). It's amazing how one guy can be so successful with just one 92 mph pitch.

Best player ever seen play baseball? That's a loaded question because there sure were a lot of great ones. It's tough to choose.

I'll say my favorite pitcher was Greg Maddux and favorite hitter and best all around player IMO was Barry Bonds.

Also, if we're talking about short-lived pure dominance, there was a point in his career where Albert Belle was an absolute terror and he had one hell of a throwing arm.

Willie Mays, though I would have loved to have seen him more towards his prime. When I was in Little League I patterned my swing after Pete Rose. Guy played ball like it was supposed to be played. Most dominant performance I ever saw, a few years ago MLB played game 1 of the 1968 series.

Sorry, but that just doesn't pass the eye test. At all.

Look at the juicing bitters before and after pics and then look at Griffey.

The guy was just a great, natural player.

He didn't blow up all of a sudden like McGwire, Sosa, Bonds and the rest of them.

Seriously, how can anyone accuse Griffey Jr of juicing.

People do realize the guy didn't even lift weights, right? Some have wondered if PEDs or HGH could have made his career last longer, in fact.

Man iirr that guy was awesome on Major League Baseball game for NES. I'd hit so many home runs with that guy was crazy. Every time he would crank out the home runs.

I'd hit it deeper than this though. I miss playing this game.

Sadly, no one is above suspicion during this time.

Sadly, yes. But Griffey is the poster child of a guy who was clearly not using. He didn't lift weights. He focused on flexibility, something that steroids would actually make worse.

Bat control Ichiro. Pitcher Maddux. Power pitcher Nolan. Straight bomber Frank Thomas. Pure hitter Brett. Fielder Ozzie Smith. Dbag Aj Pyrzinski.

George Brett, but I'm biased.

Derek Jeter - The guy is an all-around great player and hustles on every play. I've always admired that about him.
