Chiefs never win in Florida. It won't happen this year either. Hope I'm wrong since this would be a close to a lock win if at Arrowhead.

They don't traditionally do well in Florida, but they did win their last game against Jacksonville by 22 points. With Matt Cassel at QB.

(And nearly won there the year prior, during a 4-12 season)

So, hey, anything's possible...

Matt Cassel beat the team at Arrowhead. The Chiefs haven't won in Florida since 2005, the Friday Night Hurricane game.

If Kansas City loses this game, they're in serious trouble. Jacksonville is the worst team in the league by a fairly wide margin, and they're playing shorthanded.

As far as "they always lose in Florida" goes, I've been repeatedly told that I can't say the team doesn't want to draft a QB just because history indicates that. This is a new time, with a new front office and a new coaching staff and a new attitude and nothing that's happened before matters at all, and everyone's sticking their fingers in their ears and la la la la la. So...they can't be automatically expected to lose in Flordia, either. I think we've got this. Even if the season doesn't end up being anything special, I think we win this by a healthy margin.
