Not sure about that matchup. I don't think Flowers can keep up with Welker.

Welker isn't exactly fast. He's shifty and quick. Flowers would be a good matchup for him.

...and Coop gets the Geico Play of the Day!

Pretty much this.

It's looking like our best bet is to match up Sean Smith on Demaryius, Cooper on Decker (hope he's up to it!), Flowers on Welker, Berry on Julius Thomas.. And, of course, keep Dunta Robinson as far away from the field as possible.

Doesn't seem like it took Sutton too long to make the move from Dunta to Cooper.

That's good ... performance over name.

Cooper is getting valuable experience for the big games coming up.

I am full homo with him.

Love this cooper kid. What a find

31 is a lucky Chiefs number. That was worn by both Kevin Ross and Priest Holmes. Hope he continues to bring honor to it.

Kevin Ross. One of my favorite football players in history. I remember thinking he had literally killed a receiver for the Colts one day. One of the hardest hits I've ever seen in my life. I really thought he had ended the guy's life. Here's a brief, brief glimpse of it. You don't really get the full effect, but it's appropriately at the 0:31 sec. mark.

to find a big corner, off the scrap heap and costing us nothing...huge

basically negates the money wasted on dunta

It does.

Here's a slightly better glimpse of the Kevin Ross hit, at the 2:32 mark. It's on almost every hardest hits video.

Fair point. I think Fisher needs two things: weight training and to be a LT. I'm still extremely confident he's gonna be a very good one long-term, in the mold of a Joe Staley. But I don't think he's suited to RT (despite a mean streak and talent in run-blocking), and he's clearly too light and not strong enough to handle NFL ends right now.

Starting LT in week 1 next year at 315lb and I'll be very happy.

was watching Dal defense playing Manning tonight -- kind of seems like the Manning OL isn't as good as past seasons to me.
