Glad to hear it. You can't really expect a perfect launch of an mmo-scale project, so hopefully there's no Gamer Backlash GRRR about it and people understand that it's a miracle these things even work, on systems older than some third grader, with hojillions of people trying to play it all at once.
My main complaint so far, beyond the obvious loading times and hangups and weirdness, is just that things are a bit disjointed. The hiccups aren't helping, but the fwooshing out of the world and back in and back out takes something away from the experience. It's a necessary evil, and probably won't be as bad when things are working well, but bleargh. I hate lobbies, mainly.
In my fantasy world you'd just have a Need For Speed Most Wanted style roaming party traveling from mission to mission.
And more missions. Mission missions missions. I think co-op missions are my favorite thing so far. Even without a headset and matched with a totally random partner, it's a super gratifying experience.
Winning races is also a nice feeling, because there are going to be at least five occasions in any given race in which your ability to maintain control while swerving wildly will be tested. ****in' jerks. I actually try to play nice and let faster cars pass (because they're probably gonna crash at some point), but they still try to hit me. :deevee:
