Quite honestly, I can't believe it hasn't happened yet.
They protested at Emporia when I was there (for some damn reason, I don't remember. It was a stretch at best) and my buddy went right through the thick of them. He said they beat on his windows and shit. He had JUST bought that car like 3 days earlier. It'd have been tough for me to not slip on my shitkicking boots if I'd been with him. Much less if I were at a funeral.
It's really hard for me to believe there has been NO violence. But I know it'd be reported all over the news if it had.

Things like that are huge blobs of drama and stress. Quite some time ago I was in a location where a protest was going on. Not a WBC protest, it was a place of business and there was a group of people with signs lining the walkway. One of them wandered into the walkway and got in my face, started loudly yammering his bullshit at me. I must admit that for a split second I lost it and went after him. Luckily he scooted very quickly backwards, and the person I was with just barely managed to grab my wrist, so dragging her sideways slowed me down. I ended up face to face with the guy just a few feet from a cop when I snapped out of it. The cop didn't even move, actually looked the other way. And I'm the kind of guy that really just doesn't get into fights.
