1) "Conley has had a full year to get the playbook down He'll be a legit #2 guy that will really make the offense work along with Kelce and Maclin. 2) "Stephenson (If he re-signs), Grubbs, Morse and LDT will be the opening day line Sept. 2016. They'll have chemistry to really be a force in run and pass blocking and they'll be able to make up for the play of [insert rookie RT or Fisher] ." 3) "Gaines will be in his third year as a pro, Peters and Nelson will be in their second year. That's a DB trio that no QB wants to throw against." 4) "O'Shaughnessy really brings a lot to the table as a #2 TE. It's put up or shut up time for Harris though, but if he pans out that's a pretty good group of pass catchers KC has right there." And so on and so forth. |

Again with attacking the poster and having nothing to say about the actual post.

Heres the deal, theres plenty of blame to go around...
Reid - his playcalling has GOT to go, it HAS to go, we'll have to start a new movement to make it happen or something. The man is an outstanding motivator, his players respond to him, period. He draws up very intricate, exciting plays... in that sense, yes, he IS an offensive guru... but he just cant be trusted on when and where to call his own plays He needs to be a "big picture" coach, overseeing the final product but not involved in gametime playcalling decisions... if he can let his ego go and hand the reins to Pederson, I'll still back this man to the hilt. Sutton - how did it NOT occur to him that Jamel Failing needed constant safety help? How many times did that shitass need to get torched before ol Bob said to himself "ya know what, I better do something to help that shitheel"? Sean Smith - yeah you mother****er, if you didn't have your head up your ass, Failing would've been on the bench where he belongs. Alex - 2 awful picks in the redzone, way to **** your defense over... the only defense I can offer up for him, and its true, is that he was running for his life most of the night, he rarely had a clean pocket for long. I underestimated dinvers defense, those sonsabitches are FAST, really fast. Those four guys are the responsible parties, a puke worthy showing. But you know what? I'm picking us to win in Green Bay next week, you're damn right I am... for all of the shame I feel about last night, there is still just too much good going on with this team. Reid will stop ****ing his dog long enough to put a solid ground game together and otherwise have a masterful game plan, he always does this... shits the bed a time or two, and then strings together a few games that make you kinda love him again. And Sutton will pull his head out of his ass long enough to realize that there is NO such thing as "Fleming Island"... that turd needs all the help he can get. But nope, I'm not giving up... we still have a game in dinver and I fully expect a gawdamn win. |
Reid needs an OC in the worst way.

But that's not the case and I think that the Chiefs did as well as they could with that particular situation in hindsight. But I'm not going nuts because we currently don't have a Hall of Famer at QB. Most teams usually don't and are forced to win through complete team building versus getting the miracle in the draft. I think that the Chiefs have done a pretty good job in terms of team building since the start of the Dorsey/Reid era and have a pretty nice team right now. Five turnovers. That's not going to happen every game. This is a good team and they have a shot. I'm still excited to watch and see how this season unfolds and how this young team matures along the way. |

What would you suggest the narrative be then? |

I do. I truly feel that they were a significantly better team than Denver last night and were right in it to the end (lead with less than 2 minutes to go) despite all of the monumental **** ups that occurred. (I can't ever remember that many things go wrong in a single Chiefs game - playoff loss to the Colts included, and they were still right there with the lead and less than two minutes to play. This team is legit. |
3 things that lost the game:
1. You run the ball 3 times from the 2 (with the all time rushing leader of yards per carry) then, if you have to kick for 2. Do that and this thread does not exist. 2. You don't call time out with 40 seconds left on the clock. They are just as tired as we are. 3. When you get the ball back you throw down field to maximize the clock. If you need to. And I've asked this before, WHY, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD ON 3RD DOWN DO YOU THROW A PASS FOR LESS THAN WHAT YOU NEED. It shows me that you are incompetent to call an offense if you have any receiver run a pattern for less than you need for the first down. Everyone should be beyond the sticks. If they drop the pass you are no worse off than catching it and getting tackled short. And no B@#$ S&*% about hoping the player can make something happen. Reid should give up the offense and trust his coordinator. |
This years Denver team might end up being one of the best of all time with that D.
They are the best Defense in the league |
