dude, I have people on my facebook that are the epitome of homers. week in and week out the comments they make are similar to those you'd make about your sub .500 high school football team (rah rah, feel good bullshit. ). each week, they're posting pics of themselves while tailgaiting, at the game etc. and even after witnessing yet another shit show from Alex, the reasoning they post is really sad, actually. They have zero clue.

Cincy has a good pass rush and quality corners, so I expect another shitfest from Alex SMyth again.

I won't be surprised if Alex gets replaced by the bye week unless he does a full 180 and grows some testicles.

Yep. I thought he was going to break out this year. Instead, he climbed further backwards into his shell.

That is the same comment everyone made last week before we stormed into Miami with a big win. I really think we walk into Cincinnati with a renewed focus. The chiefs looked even worse beginning of last year and then put together an impressive 7-1 run against a tough schedule.

Short week, on the road, against a quality opponent.

Even if we had a good QB, the odds are against us.

Thank God we beat Miami last week. I had this dream we got totally dick stomped on national TV by the Packers.

You're delusional.

Cincy has a better defense than GB...Alex is probably scared to practice against even a scout team imitating that defense.

And Denver and Houston have a better defense than green Bay. If not for five uncharacteristic turnovers, the chiefs offense was good enough against Denver. They'll never be great but it's good enough to keep us in games. Which is what I think we will do in cincy.

No. There are people here, like me, saying it will be a good game. The idea that we are outmatched is just silly. We almost always keep games within about 7 and one game isn't going to change my opinion that we will at least keep the game close.

I don't totally disagree with you. Hell, I teased the Chiefs at +10 this week, but good games only count in regards to your kids soccer matches. Wins are all that matter in the NFL

Must be nice to be a homer.

*last year. You know what I meant.

Last year we got curb stomped by Tennessee. Then got embarrassed by Denver. That's even worse than what we're seeing now.

I am not predicting a win. But the CP sentiment is that we will get blown out. If we play as we did in Denver and Houston, we absolutely have a shot at winning.

Man, I disagree big time. Can you imagine the hypertension, ulcers, and other stress related illnesses that come from actually thinking this team has a shot week in and week out, only to be let down time and time again? **** all that noise!

Bull.

That GB game was the worst loss of the Andy Reid regime.

This. And Zilla is delusional about the Bengal game. KC will get beat and its not gonna be close. The teams are headed in totally opposite directions. Dalton, not Smith, is growing as a QB. 1-3 come Sunday.

Huh? Last year, the chiefs were blown out by a terrible titans team. They followed with a really bad performance against Denver. At least the Packers are a good teamteam.

Absolutely agree 100%. On National television, against a Super Bowl caliber team, the Chiefs looked COMPLETELY outclassed. In all phases of the game, including defensively which is sad because GB's D isn't that good.
