Best time I could have had in a royals loss.

Had a blast with you guys! eDave, your a great guy and Lew, always a good time to see you and the Mrs. Let's do it again for a Chiefs playoff ga.....Hahahaha

No, but seriously, let's do it again sometime.

srvy 10-30-2015 11:12 PM

You guys are the reason we lost. Don't ever do this again!

lmao

Alex Smith will get hurt this week and Chase Daniel will win 9 in a row. Smith will be healthy for the playoff game and Andy Reid will announce the starter doesn't lose his job to injury. We can then stand in a circle and fire at each other at the same time.

The End

We hung out a bit with some really cool Mets fans. Came and introduced themselves to us. We bought them a round. Lew and his wife have pictures with them.

I'll let Lew tell you more about the Mets fans.

Ain't no party like an eDave party.

I'm not a great storyteller and I miss facts sometimes, but here it goes. ALWAYS party with eDave!

So upon arriving to meet eDave (if that is your real name), within 5 minutes a guy dressed in Mets gear came to our table to talk about the series. Asked why we were Royals fans, was very knowledgeable about baseball. He talked about how their band played a big open area in KC (he couldn't remember the name) during game 1 of the World Series. Talked about how awesome the city embraces the Royals, the amazing blue downtown lights and fountains. Said he respected the hell out of the Royals. He stated his band had a day off in between shows and they were taking in the game tonight at Alice Cooperstown in Phoenix before their concert here tomorrow. Seemed very humble about this band he's in, making no mention of their name until we ask. States they are playing with Primus, Tool and Rob Zombie the next night. "Our band is Coheed," he says. Ummmm like the Coheed and Cambria I ask? He says yea, laughs, "most people have never heard of us." Well he doesn't know the amazing taste and variety in music of Mr and Mrs Lewdog and eDave! They've been a huge favorite of mine for years. Not a competitive enough game to really get into it with them but a few cheers and glances back and forth. Especially after the game's opening dirty pitch! eDave chatted up their lead guitarist quite a bit. Wife and I got a picture with the lead singer and drummer at the end of the game. Fun night regardless of the outcome.

oh yea, eDave totally spoiled us picking up the $100 opening tab of drinks and food for us and bought Coheed and their table a round of beers. eDave is already a legend in my mind.

/thanks for reading.
