ROFL - had a laugh with the parents over this. Moms saying she'd nod off during commercials and dad would smack her arm when the game returned.

This is mom, who never in her life finished a show that started at 9:00 until the DVR. ROFL - knew everything about the first 10 minutes of every episode of ER, or L&O. Couldn't tell you shit about the rest of the show.

Don't know if it was mentioned elsewhere, but Hoz and Salvie are on the Tonight Show tonight with Fallon. Picture of them (and hot GF's) flying to NYC.

Gross. I have to watch Jimmy ****ing Fallon. Ugh.

But I'll do it. I owe it to the Royals.

He's not just a Marlins guy at the WS.

He attends a lot of very high profile sporting events all over the place. I can't believe you watched the last two post seasons and don't know who he is. The Royals offered him incentives to move from his seating position and even tried to talk him into going Royal Blue. I believe it drove Glass himself crazy enough he was willing to bribe him with all kinds of crap, and EVERYONE knows how tight that guy is with his coins.

He went basically unnoticed for years and years until he started wearing the new orange. I believe he's also done some cool things for kids, charities, and just people in general. At one time I believe he was even told he only had "x number of months to live".

He was diagnosed with cancer which turned out to be a benign liver growth. But yeah, he goes everywhere, baseball, football, basketball, soccer, college and pros. I think they said around 300 games a year.

Here's a fun World Series-related tidbit. I once babysat Luke Hochevar when he was a toddler. He wasn't with the Royals, back then.

Congratulations, by the way. I so hope that I'll get to celebrate my team winning a World Series one day. I'm not going to bet on it; but I can at least hold out hope.

Yeah. It was a starter beard; but a beard, nonetheless. He was pretty much born with it.

His family is crazy athletic. His sister plays Pro Beach Volleyball (you might have already known that). His parents are both tall and athletic (his dad, IIRC, was the last player cut by the Nuggets in the year or so before I met the family).

How much money did it cost to get the internet connection installed in your cave?

Google Marling Man. About 2,940,000 results

Could he fly with those ears as a toddler? I like Hoch bet he is a great teammate. So glad he found his nich in the bullpen because as a starter he was just awful. Hope I am wrong I see the same similarities in Duffy.
