This is an EXTREMELY FAVORABLE schedule.

I understand a lot of people trying to stay "realistic" and temper their optimism but I sincerely think the Chiefs can win 13 or 14 games this year.

I have us going 13-3 with losses to the Steelers, Panthers, and Jaguars

I see no reason why we cannot go 6-0 in the division.

We get Oakland away after a bye week, at home on a Thursday (favors home team), and Denver in KC on CHRISTMAS NIGHT. The Chargers should be two gimme wins and the other Denver game could be a toss up. Im not really sure what to think of them without Peyton under center. He sucked last year but he is definitely better than the slop they will have this year just because of his intelligence and understanding of the game.

The other tough games we have? The Steelers and Panthers. Both teams are beatable however.

Some games people are overlooking: Jags and Jets

Jets have a very talented football team but will still have slop at QB. Thus we should win.

The Jags have an awesome young core of offensive players and a steadily improving defense. I think they could contend for the playoffs this year. That could be the one game we lose that we all expected to win.

Chiefs should be favored in MOST of the games they play this year. I think 11 wins would be the low end of what we should expect. I see us getting 13. I predicted us to get 13 last year and we fell two short with chokes to the Bears and Broncos...

I think we have a good opportunity to grab the first seed in the AFC and make a run to the Super Bowl. It would only be fitting for us to win it this year considering it will be in Houston.

I'm not saying he needs to be a homer, but some of the stuff he puts out there and the questions he asks in press conferences are just completely ignorant. Any Chiefs fan can see that much. The guy sucks at his job, regardless of his picks.

That's why this is the only Chiefs board I come to anymore. The blatant Barry Kool Aid homerism and salt on other boards / Chiefs sites is unbearable. At least most of the people here, including Buck, the lone Charger fan, Raider and Broncos fans, minus knowshit, live in the real world.

Teicher is always negative toward the Chiefs in general and his presser questions are benign 90% of the time.

I think at Atl or Jax is our trap game.

Marking each game with a "W" or "L" at this point is about as asinine as handing out draft grades the day after the draft. Teams are unexpectedly up and down every year.

My 1st glance is 10-6 but I will go through it and post up something better.

My guess was 9-7 last season and we won two more games than expected so I guess the question is: do we keep the momentum going or have a set back.

10-6 seems like a safe bet....

But on the face of it, this schedule doesnt scare me at all...
