If they take Lynch with the intention of starting him right away, that just as big of a mistake as them doing so with Geno Smith. I'm still hoping KC moves up for Lynch using a 2017 pick to move up. I think Dorsey tipped his hat during his recent interview that they intend on doing that, too. Seemed to indicate that he thinks Lynch is as good or better than Wentz and Goff and also mentioned that he has had conversations with multiple teams about draft trade scenarios. Boy, oh boy I'm gonna be super pumped up if we make a move to draft him. |
Alexander with the #1, Ogbah with the #2

If he didn't say his actual name.....then he didn't indicate shit. There are QBs in this class other than Lynch.
|
There's just no way Lynch is there at 28. He's not getting past NYJ IMO. If Dorsey truly loves him and he slips, he'll go get him.

Ahem.
"I'd also love to see Mackensie Alexander in Kansas City. He's perfect for all that man coverage #PerfectFits" - Sam Monson (@PFF_Sam) I'm praying... |
I predict we will not sniff Paxton. He will be gone and we are in win now mode with a playoff team. We need a corner or pass rusher in the first. Maybe LB.

I will say though, I got a feeling similar to he did when I was watching. It's just way too speculative to give any real meaning too. |
Boss I'll bet you Chipotle that Murray is the next starter and they won't draft Lynch.

Who would win in a wrestling match in Elway vs Dorsey??

Ian Rapaport@RapSheet-The #Browns have spoken with teams about moving back in the 1st round… and moving up into the 1st round from the 2nd. For a QB?
99% Dorsey is involved with this. 28 for 32 and 99 or 100. Feeling good about this. |
We lost Smith and Abdullah. We need a corner so the only way I see us drafting Lynch is if he falls to 28 so there is no trade.
For Dorsey to trade up his love for him would have to be on the "no way this guy is not a stud for 15 years" type of love. I doubt that's what he thinks when no scout in the nations feels that way. We would be in the market next year but it's not looking good for prospects so if he made a move this may be his only shot. He might think that if Lynch falls close to us. Other teams also know this so I that just really makes it u likely he goes down that far. |
