Yeah, it's starting to look like I got caught up in the hype yet again.

Hill hasn't done anything spectacular, but he's run some pretty crisp routes and made a couple of catches that helped move the chains, and the defense has shown a healthy respect for his speed.

I don't get the Mauga hate, but I really didn't pay a lot of attention to his play last year.

I just remember that he made a couple of clutch interceptions and always thought well of him.

Tell that to the one guy taken off on a cart. Don't remember his name.

True. Wonder if he will do better in SF for that reason? Seems he had a good thing going before he traded away his best players

I don't know.

I'm not a fan of his system, because even if run successfully, it puts a lot of pressure on his defense.
Teams that can move the chains, run the clock, are going to wear his defenses down pretty early in games.

Unfortunately for him, the talent on offense isn't there yet, unlike when he went to Philly.

How long until we get "Disappointed in Tyreek Hill" thread?

Speaking of SF, I haven't been paying attention to them. Who's gonna be the QB? Seems Keep fits the system better, but Gabbert looked like he may be turning his career around last year.

Last I heard, Kaepernick hasn't been practicing or playing due to a shoulder issue, so Gabbert might be winning by default.

Arm fatigue because he is a wanker.

Our special teams return blocking has been very inconsistent and that's being generous. Give it time to get better. I don't care how fast and quick our return guy is, if we can't get 2-3 good initial blocks so that Hill can find the seam much quicker then it will be underwhelming for all our return guys. I won't give Hill a pass either and he is realizing just how fast this game is and he can't afford to dance too much but I will give him the benefit of the doubt at this point that his dancing is because he is not getting the initial good blocks to find and get to the seam quicker whether it's left, right or up the middle.

I haven't seen any dancing from Hill.

He's made a, couple tough catches too.

Rewatching the game and Ford looks a lot better setting the edge than he did last game. I don't see where people are getting that he played bad again.
