It doesnt make me angry. It just frustrates me seeing fellow Chiefs fans basically downplay every single QB in the league in effort to prop up Alex Smith. Its a joke.

Tyrod had a very Alex Smith like season last year, but it was better than Alex almost completely across the board statistically. Bortles scored 37 touchdowns and had almost 4500 passing yards. Yet to Alex fans, neither of these guys are any good.

I'm not mad. Its just annoying that its done with basically every QB in the NFL. Bortles and Tyrod just happen to be the latest examples.

Not to mention, they are comparing a 12 year veteran to guys fresh off the bus. I would ****ing hope he would be better, but yet it is debatable.

If you took every Alex Smith thread posted on this website in the last 4+ years - and removed the dates and any identifying information - you wouldn't be able to tell when the thread/posts were made.

We're still debating the same issues we debated when we originally made the trade. The only thing that has changed are the excuses.

I don't even think the excuses have changed that much. It's always been the lack of weapons, lack of blocking or lack of good play calling. Just pick one from each category and go from there....
