So you're part of the 5% huh? 5% of KC people who hate St Louis for no reason whatsoever. 5% of StL people hate KC for no reason whatsoever. It's stupid.

I wear my Blues hat a lot this time of year and it's always entertaining for people to be like how are you a Royals/Chiefs fan and also a Blues fan. My response is generally, do you see a ****ing NHL team in KC? No. So I hopped on the Blues train many years ago as they are the closest team geographically for me to root for.

I hit up StL 5 or 6 times a years and it's always a blast. Nothing but love for that city.

Just thinking that another tie to the St. Louis area can't be a bad thing if you're looking at moving the Chiefs into the market. I'm a Blues fan because I'm a Cardinals fan otherwise there's no telling where I'd have looked for a hockey team.

But since I already had ties to the Cards, the Blues were an easy fit. So if you're a hockey fan in STL with no football team to root for, perhaps this makes KC a natural spot to look.

Just a thought...

Chiefs have their games on KMOX radio in St. Louis, home of the Cardinals and Blues. That's about as smart as you can get for sports radio home.

Hell the Blues and Chiefs are the same franchise, just different sports. Same shit comes from both of them.

I won't go in to certain bars with Blues gear on.

I wouldn't count on it being at Sprint Center.

Much more likely Independence, with a version of the Mavs team moving over on the Kansas side to the proposed Hockey arena off of 159th and Antioch.

For a city that has passed St. Louis in many ways, it's bizarre to me how many residents continue to get so bent out of shape about it.

The last 20 years have shown 2 cities on sharply divergent paths. KC's downtown renewal has been a resounding success while St. Louis's downtown area has become such a shithole that entire NFL proposals are built around what a lousy area it is.

Now, in fairness, before that started KC's downtown was infinitely worse than STLs but over the last 5 years or so, KC caught and passed St. Louis. And then folks in KC act like St. Louis is a bunch of assholes that hold some grudge against KC. Huh? St. Louis hates Chicago. The city at large doesn't really think much about KC either way.

Then again, it's Billay we're talking about. So I wouldn't expect anything halfway intelligent from the mouth-breather as it is.

Good for you. I personally think it's a shithole of a city but glad the Blues are bringing the closet thing to my childhood (The IHL) back to KC where it belongs. I went to so many Blades games and practices as a kid. I think I got damn near every players autograph. I tune in to Grand Rapids Griffins games just to hear Bob Kaser do play by play. I'm very excited!

Oh Lionel Hutz I never gave a **** about your opinion of me. I usually just scroll through your 5 or 6 paragraphs per post and keep it moving. Let's just enjoy the fact we have great hockey coming to KC.

Everything I have seen, including this report, has said they'll be playing at the Sprint Center.

The Blues have not made the plans official, but Hunt Jr., who currently owns the Missouri Mavericks of the East Coast Hockey League, who will also look to bring a United States Hockey League team to play with the new AHL team at the Sprint Center, where the Blues have played multiple exhibition games in recent seasons.

Pure speculation at this point

Typical toddler; flipping through books and looking at the pictures.

I wouldn't want you to strain yourself.

Looks like backwoods is triggered. If you want to have a KC/St.Louis debate make a thread about it. This one is about hockey.

Oh.

So 'St. Louis can eat a fat dick' was hard-hitting hockey commentary, was it?

You're an odd one. Not terribly bright and as intellectually curious as a hamster, yet strangely belligerent.

I guess that's one way to go about it.
