oh look other units are scoring ! the horror! the horror of it all!

..and then, get this! the offense, I mean, Alex is actually benefiting from it! The nerve!

so.. so... selfish.

Special teams and defensive TDs are no reason why your offense has to go into the shitter.

This really isn't hard, man.

Enjoy your well-played game by the Chiefs offense. I certainly am. I am also aware that they will not continue this. It might start next week, and it will probably occur in the playoffs.

like they are related....any ST's /D scores yesterday?

bottom line, everyone is contributing.

Schwartz getting outside and sealing off Miller? Wilson fending off Talib?

..but hey, watching with pessimism.

Sounds delicious.

"enjoy your well played game"

priceless.

I already said I enjoyed the way the offense played last night.

It's still a crap offense that's not going to be successful in the playoffs.

Better hope the defense bails its ass out like it has been all year.

already covered this, you're being redundant.

"Better hope"

me? nah, kind of odd of you offering up something you don't possess.

Keep using plays like that and have him run so you can hide his downfield accuracy issues.

I would imagine his numbers for downfield accuracy are quite impressive, what with the limited attempts and all, yes.

OL can't get enough credit either. They dominated in pass pro. Gave Alex all the time in the world to scan the field and make a decision.

Can't wait for us to get a QB with vertical accuracy. This team is set up for that player to succeed.

Multiple reads,
the inability of a defense to stack the box and dare the QB to beat them,
stepping in to the pocket to deliver a pass across the LOS in a vertical trajectory...

...smells like fresh spring rain.

It must suck to follow a team on the internet that you don't like, yet post a dozen times a day about said team's 11-4 failure and a playoff berth, so far.

How many hundreds of thousands post would you make if you actually rooted for a specific NFL team?

Reerun_KC 12-26-2016 08:16 PM

Yep nailed the OP.

Have you gone from being done with this team to watching every game?

Not likely.

Knowing the OP it was Deep Eddy grapefruit vodka, with 100% natural mineral tonic water, lime wedge and mint sprig for garnish.

FloridaMan88 12-26-2016 08:24 PM

The bottom line question is can the Chiefs realistically rely on Alex Smith and their offense to beat Pittsburgh or New England in a playoff game when they are not gifted by turnovers or defensive/special teams TD's.

Good ****ing grief.

I can't bring myself to watch Alex Smith play football; it's just too horrid even if he does have a good game now and then.
I'll re-evaluate my fandom with the franchise when he's gone, and even then a great deal will depend upon what kind of route they go when replacing him.
The Chiefs have stopped the shitty football by bringing in Smith, but it's time to go to the next level.
