I’m not fretting too much on it cause I know that they won’t be in base much. And it does represent good odds that they will be able to stop the run.

Not to mention this team could easily take a LB with one of it's first 3 picks and that would flip this script also.

This team really needs to come away from the draft with 3-4 D players that are ready to contribute with a couple of them being ready to start.

Well they can't really mean anything else.

If that's the Chiefs LB group going into the season, they'll be worse than they were in '18.

My guess is they are saying that stuff because they don't want to just cut Ragland, they may want to try to move him during camp/preseason.

I don’t think it’s guaranteed but why would they spend big on someone who will play 30% of the time? Cause that’s what the SAM is gonna do unless it’s a star player (and it won’t be).

$5.6M over two years is replacement player level. You can bet your ass he's a piece of the puzzle, but not necessarily a projected starter.
