Just dumb asses defending him.

Regular season games this year Kobe was constantly jawing with Harden and Westbrook while they blew him off. I won't insult you for not watching every game like KC ****.

I know the playoffs are different and OKC hasn't proven shit, but I assure you they are better than the Lakers and the Lakers know it.

I picked and bet on SA to win it all. I'm not a blind homer.

okcchief 05-14-2012 07:19 AM

I'm done with this. I'll discuss the series in a week when it's over.

Typical Chiefs planet dick measuring contest. Pointless.

The 3rd seed in the West is average?

Think about that. In a league shortened season, with a new coach, and turnover on the roster, the Lakers were a 3 seed.

Thunder fans like to stick out their chest like they've accomplished something. You've done nothing, absolutely nothing. You've never won a conference title, nothing.

So spare me the Thunder hype. Durant is one more failed series away from LeBron territory.

Let him score the first 4 points of the game and watch him shoot 30 times.

Anytime Westbrook shoots as much as Durant that's a big defensive win.

Be nice to see Artest drop dead from an aneurism in the middle of game 1. Might help the ratings as well.

I don't consider the Thunder elite yet, and I won't after beating an average team in the 2nd round.

I picked another team to win it all. Man you guys like creating your own stories.

Just the series. I was just addressing your elite team comment. Look back at the history of the regular season thread and you'll see I've been cautiously optimistic. I was concerned about the first round matchup with Dallas, and I'm overly concerned with SA. You may know other Thunder fans beating their chest but that's not me. I just happen to like a matchup and you as a fan of that team get defensive. I understand that. If the Chiefs were setup like the Thunder im sure you would fight the other side of the battle. We're all at least a little biased.

I have an ex co-worker here who always claimed to be a diehard Pacers fan. I ran into him the other day and asked him how he felt about the Pacers team this year and he said "Oh no man, I'm a Thunder fan now."

The Lakers have won more championships without Kobe. Let's do the math...5 with Kobe,11 without Kobe. Kobe is a great player no doubt, but to say the Lakers will be irrevelant, that's just silly!

There's nothing isolated about Kobe's long history of hitting others in the head, though. If you hate Artest for supposedly being a dirty player (which he really isn't), you should certainly hate him.

I am excited about this next game because believe this series is going to be a war.

Well the Celts gave that game away, dirk is exactly right.

S'alright. They should outlast Philly in this series. But they'll only have themselves to blame when it takes them seven games to do it.

I'll take that as you know dick about basketball. The Lakers don't reload? When they got rid of Shaq that was supposed to be the end. It wasn't.

When Magic retired, that was supposed to be the end, it wasn't.

The Lakers re-load pretty quickly and are never down for many years. Spurs are the only team that's even comparable recently to that.

DBOSHO 05-14-2012 09:24 PM

I just hope okc enjoys this. They sure wont shoot this good again anytime soon.

-King- 05-14-2012 09:29 PM

This sucks, but oh well, I expected the Lakers to get blown out at least once every series. Happened in the regular season so I didn't expect it to change now. If they can steal a win on the road, they're in good shape because I think they can win at home.

Pitt Gorilla 05-14-2012 09:33 PM

Not that this is good at all for the Heat, but in a way it's good for Lebron. If he wins a championship this year without Bosh I think he'll get some cred from people that he normally wouldn't receive.

Not suggesting that Lebron gives a shit about that, though. Obviously he wants Bosh on the court, but he can still make this work.

LeBron and Wade are good enough that they can probably handle themselves there too, but it would nice to have a player with Bosh's talent around then if LeBron decides he wants to choke again.
