Yes. I realize that. My point was - and I should have been more clear about it - the ref would have had a much more severe reaction to the play had it been # 18. Probably would have determined it was intentional and kicked the player out of the game.

Manning has been hit late, hit below the knees, hit in the head several times since he's come to Denver. Usually it isn't even a flag. Roughing the passer has only been called once since he became a Bronco.
