LMAO This account was three years old. Worthless now. First no hitter against the Cubs since Sandy Koufax in 1965.

No. 7,921: Cole Hamels has no-hit the Cubs. That may be the craziest ending to a no-hitter I've ever seen.

IF Dayton Moore is dead set on Johnny Cuato, then I'm not sure that a good game in Colorado is in the best interest of this team.
|
The only catch is Hamels threw about 130 pitches. He's probably going to get bombed next time out.

I am never one to hype up July games to have any more or less significance than games at any other point of the season, but tonight and tomorrow do have some importance IMO. Post trade deadline, whether we have a strengthened rotation or now, we need Duffy and Ventura to step it up. This team at least one of them to step it up. Duffy has shown signs of improvement over his last three starts, but it's time for some consistency from him and especially Ventura.

LMAO Cubs with the comprehensive game summary.

That looks like some shit the Royals used to post on facebook. Royals lose 8-1. Gordon scores on a wild pitch!!!!!

Except no one throws like that. You plant and push off while your other leg steps into the throw and braces your forward movement. Everybody's doing the locamotion... |
Cueto doing well so far:
Through 6 IP 4 H 0 R 0 BB 2 K EDIT: Through 7: 4 H 0 R 0 BB 3 K Seems like he's doing just fine. EDIT 2: Cueto is done after 8 4 H 0 R 1 BB 5 K He was receiving plenty of hugs after, probably, his last start in a Reds uniform. |
