It looks like it is actually possible, but you'd probably have to have Denver lose a game in the next two weeks.

I’m not sure, but there are some pretty awful teams vying for wildcards right now in the AFC.

They might take it by record alone.

Either way, we’re big Cowboy and 49er fans next week.

That would ****ing suck for the Dolphins to win the next two and only need to beat the Bills backups for the 1 seed.

Here’s a realistic scenario that I kinda like:

Bills and Denver win out. Baltimore only loses in SF.

Denver comes to Arrowhead for the wildcard round. Then Tyreek to Arrowhead for the divisional and the Bills go to Baltimore. Bills to KC for the 6th annual Arrowhead Invitational.

I almost don’t even want the 1 seed.

Mr_Tomahawk 12-18-2023 07:37 AM

I don't have faith in Denver winning out. They need their opponent to turnover the ball 2+ times to have a chance...

Unless the Dolphins win the next two, which I think is unlikely, the Bills would be the three and play us in the divisional.

Said it last night but that is a huge loss for them.

If the Bills win out (including a win @ Miami) and the Dolphis lose two more (lets say losses @ Baltimore and Buffalo with a win against Dallas) who wins the AFC East? Both teams would finish the year at 11-6 with the same divisional and conference records.

RunKC 12-18-2023 10:44 AM

The Bills and Dolphins will play for the division in week 17. Bills play the hapless quitting Chargers and Patriots so they should be 11-5. Dolphins play the Cowboys and will likely get fisted at Baltimore.

Winner take all in the final game

Buffalo wins the head to head tiebreaker I believe

Buffalo already has six losses. You’re correct though that (in that scenario) that game would be for the division. If Buffalo win they would both finish 11-6 but the bills have the tiebreaker.
