There isn't any. He wasn't talking to his opponent when he said it, thus sportsmanship doesn't even apply here. He's a kid in an emotional abyss at that point, he's liable to say whatever. He thinks he can beat UNI 100 times if they played them again, he's probably close, too.

UNI has scoreboard. KU has ifs-and-buts and woulda-shoulda-coulda.

IMHOWhen you lose you give the opponent credit, suck it up and get to work on fixing what caused you to lose. You don't cry about the refs and how you are really a better team unless you are a poor sport.

I guess we just disagree on the concept of sportsmanship and how you should handle a loss. Doesn't make either one of us wrong.
