Baylor has scored 29 and somehow has 33 second chance points.

mnchiefsguy 02-11-2012 01:27 PM

Pressey with a couple of nice threes. Not feeling great about the first half so far, but Mizzou has a lead. Would be nice to get a bucket with this last possession.

Dartgod 02-11-2012 01:28 PM

Too ****ing many 2nd chance points.

O.city 02-11-2012 01:28 PM

Watch out Saul, Kc will be in here to call you out on that shoving comment about the officiating changing the game.

They're really letting Baylor shove under the rim.

Yeah, they are not playing well on the defensive boards.

Saul Good 02-11-2012 01:28 PM

Smart foul.

We could use some home cooking.

KcMizzou 02-11-2012 01:29 PM

Ben Askren was standing there in the Mizzou tunnel with Alden.

DJ's left nut 02-11-2012 01:29 PM

We'd be up 12 if we had only done a bad job of rebounding instead of an historically abysmal one.

Frank Haith needs to find Jarrett Sutton in the lockerroom and kill him in cold blood, then put his head on a pike and walk out the runway back onto the court with it.

It's not Sutton's fault that someone has to die, but !@#$ me, Haith has got to do something to wake these guys up. This is some Quin Snyder 'screw the defense/rebounding, lets go shoot some 3s' shit right here.

That was an awful half, I don't give a damn what the scoreboard says.

mnchiefsguy 02-11-2012 01:29 PM

Mizzou needs to come out and out hustle Baylor to start the second half....get some rebounds, score some inside buckets, and start the second half strong with a bit of a run.

O.city 02-11-2012 01:31 PM

Baylor shooting 37 % from the field, MU at 52%.

Baylor with 11 offensive rebounds.

MU made 12 shots that half, 6 of them threes.

Only reason that came to mind is I have this memory of it being a big deal when he passed Steve Stipanovich at the time. Could not tell you what game he did it or anything, it is just something that popped into my head.

If Mizzou can hit the defensive glass harder and hold Baylor to that 37%, I think Mizzou can start to pull away in the second half.

petegz28 02-11-2012 01:36 PM

I thought Baylor got away with a lot under the rim but MU has to step it up on rebounding. If they get 25% more Baylor is down by double digits. We'll see what happens in the 2nd half. Hopefully you'll see some better board crashing and we need more dribble penetraion and getting to the line.
